Overview
This document maps the Peer Support (PS) role across the 9-week Cooperative Foundations program, session by session. It pulls together PS-facing content from the curriculum, homework guides, tools, and red flags into one reference.
The playbook is organized chronologically. Each section covers what the PS needs to know and do before, during, and after each session, plus the Studio Support Meeting that follows.
Some of the types of things to note at every session:
- Who's talking, who's quiet, who defers to whom, and how this is changing over time
- Recurring themes or unresolved issues
- Are they doing the homework?
- Whose needs are centred or minimized consistently?
- Which tools is the studio actually using vs. which feel like busywork?
- Is the studio's energy growing or drifting as the program progresses?
- Where do you need support from program coordinators?
